This information has just been confirmed by a study carried out by the Economist Intelligence Unit (a division of "The Economist" magazine). This study, entitled "World Investment Prospects to 2011", ranks Belgium 15th in a global selection of 82 investment countries.

A new train station for Mons
By 2015, the town of Mons should have a brand new railway station with its own walkway linking the historic town to the Grands-Prés extension. The SNCB (Belgian Railways) have allocated a budget of more than 100 million euros to implement this project designed by the Spaniard Santiago Calatrava Valls.

La Baule: a superb platform for selling Wallonia

Johnson & Johnson has officially announced the opening of the new orthopaedic equipment section in its Centre, which will create 80 additional jobs between now and 2010.

Caterpillar Belgium invests 12 million euros in Gosselies
The Gosselies site was selected from all of the Group's sites to launch a new high-technology line for the assembly of large hydraulic shovels.
The Hainaut plant is a "unique source" in the world for the production of this category of hydraulic shovel.
