The Korean company JF & B Co will produce its Korean chocolate in the Saintes industrial park. It will benefit from investment aid.
The Jubilee company, known in its country for its “chocolate shops-bakeries”, has been manufacturing home-made chocolates and other pastries since 1996.
It will manufacture chocolate in Tubize for direct export to Korea with the “made in Belgium” logo.
Tubize makes up part of a free zone, which enables companies to set up and benefit from investment aid. With this in mind and according to the Yonhap press agency, the company will benefit from a grant of 2.4 million Dollars over a period of three years.
The company will set up in the new IBW buildings of the trade park. These buildings, some of which are still under construction, are subject to particular attention with regards energy consumption.
